NWS says tornado touched down last week in Penn Yan

The National Weather Service says a tornado with maximum winds of 100 mph touched down last week in Penn Yan. After a daylong investigation, the weather service determined a tornado tore through the Yates County village about 8:20 p.m. Thursday.
