to ask yourself:
- How much will we truly save and for how long?
- Are the AIM incentives (State Funds) guaranteed and for how many years?
- At what price should we surrender the assets and elements of our community?
- Is this a good time to take risks on a plan with no guarantees?
- If assessments are equalized, how high will my taxes be?

a better informed choice when dissolution goes to a vote on
March 16th, 2010.
If citizens are short sighted, we may later regret our decision. It is our responsibility to be educated!!!
Voting will take place at the Seneca Falls Community Center between the hours of 12:00 PM and 9:00 PM.

The Dissolution Study started when some village residents asked why their taxes are so high and their neighbors' taxes (in the town) are so low.
This still deserves discussion but village residents should not have to risk services to equalize the taxes.
Dissolution is not the Solution
The typical Seneca Falls resident would have the most to lose and the least to gain with this plan.
Make your own decision, but please know the facts:- There are no guarantees
- Once the decision is made, there is no turning back
- There is no recourse for years ... until the next election
Why risk losing your employees who know our community best through years of dedicated service?
