Beer Off Flavors Course

Have you ever had a beer that didn’t taste quite right, but couldn’t identify the flavor? Do you work in the beer or hospitality industry Do you homebrew and want to make better beer? Are you studying for the BJCP or Cicerone exam?
If yes, this class is for you!
Come refine your palate and learn to evaluate beer flavors and aromas. Using a sensory spike kit, students will sample all six flavors used in the Cicerone Basic Off-Flavor Kit and four additional flavors. Participants will be provided with a booklet describing each off flavor and taught their origins.
Class will last for approximately 2 hours.
Must be 21 to participate. Please bring a photo ID to class.
Seats are limited. Pre-registration is required.
The class will be taught by Rich Michaels, a 25 year veteran of the beer industry. He is a Cicerone Certified Beer Server and graduate of the Siebel Institute of Brewing.
