Bowl for the Cure Set for Feb. 3 & 4

Friday, February 3, 2017 - Saturday, March 4, 2017

Join the Canandaigua USBC Bowling Association in its effort to support the Dr. Laurie Sands and Constellation Brands Breast Imaging Center by taking part in the ninth annual Bowl for the Cure on Friday, Feb. 3, and Saturday, Feb. 4, at Roseland Bowl in Canandaigua.

Anyone is welcome to participate in Bowl for the Cure either night, but five-person teams with corporate sponsors are invited to take part in Corporate Challenge Night on Friday, with registration beginning at 5 p.m. and bowling beginning at 6:30 p.m. Bowl for the Cure continues on Saturday, when registration begins at 2:30 p.m. and bowling starts at 4 p.m.

Both Friday and Saturday, a minimum donation of $35 allows each participant to bowl three games and includes ball and shoe rental ($30 if registering online).

To register, pick up a registration form at Roseland Bowl, 4357 Recreation Drive, or visit http://teamraiser.rochester.edu/bowl.

Proceeds from Bowl for the Cure benefit the Breast Health Navigation Program offered by the Dr. Laurie Sands and Constellation Brands Breast Imaging Center at UR Medicine’s Thompson Health as well as Susan G. Komen, a non-profit organization fighting breast cancer and supporting those who are diagnosed with it.

The 2016 Bowl for the Cure resulted in a $20,500 donation to Thompson. Since the event’s inception, the event has raised more than $150,000 for Thompson’s breast health services.
