Paddling along the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail
Saturday, August 20, 2016 @ 10:00 am - 1:30 pm$30
Join the Montezuma Audubon Center staff for a guided, 1-hour canoe/kayak paddle on Cayuga Lake to enjoy the sights and sounds of the early autumn bird migration. Bring your own boat or rent one from us. Birds of prey, waterfowl, songbirds and shorebirds are busy preparing for their long journey south and Cayuga Lake is one of the best places to encounter dozens of bird species. The Buttonwood Grove Winery will provide a variety of award-winning wines that will be paired with delicious, local cheeses. This innovative program will conclude with a live bird of prey program featuring KrittrKris and Feathered Friends. Here is your chance to see owls, hawks, falcons and vultures up close! Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Fee: $20/person without rental, $30/person with single kayak rental, $50/couple with canoe rental.
