Waterloo Village Police are investigating the death of a 31-year-old man. It happened at a Locust Street home Saturday night. The man, who was visiting friends, apparently died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Village police arrived at the scene shortly before midnight. It is not yet known whether the death was accidental or intentional. The name of the victim has not been released. Seneca County Sheriffs Deputies, State Police and the Seneca County District Attorney’s Office are assiting in the investigation.
