Port Byron Pizzeria Robbed

Sheriff Rob Outhouse reports that on Saturday July 23rd at 9:30 PM Deputies responded to a report of an armed robbery at Nino’s Pizzeria in the Village of Port Byron. Employees reported that a female entered the pizza shop, displayed a knife and demanded money from the cashier. The female left with an undisclosed amount of cash.The suspect was described as a white female in her twenties or thirties, about 5’10” tall, weighing about 250 pounds with long dark hair in a ponytail. She was wearing a green tank top and black shorts. She was last seen getting into a dark colored car, possibly a Dodge Stratus, which traveled, northbound on Church Street.The Port Byron Police Department and the New York State Police assisted the Sheriff’s Office at the scene.The Sheriff asks that anyone with any information they believe would be helpful in this investigation please contact the Sheriff’s Office at 315-253-1222 or the Criminal Investigations Unit directly at 315-253-1610 and speak with Detective Cornelius or Detective Smith.
