The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office has issued a travel advisory for Seneca County. The roads in Seneca County are open but the Sheriff’s Office asks you to restrict travel to only that which is necessary.Weather reports indicate high winds that will cause patches of drifting snow and reduced visibility, especially in open areas. Road conditions can change in an instant so drivers should use caution if you need to travel today. Remember to stay far enough behind other traffic to allow for braking. Watch for snow drifts in the road and remember that a drift can cause loss of control and steering. In the event that you do have vehicle problem call 911 and the closest emergency services will respond as quickly and safely as road conditions allow.
