Hidden Valley 4-H Camp Alumni Sought

How long has it been since you have been to Hidden Valley 4-H Camp? Whether you were among the first staff and campers in 1945 or were at camp just last year, you can join the Hidden Valley 4-H Camp Alumni Association! The camp spirit and traditions that have grown over 63 years are still carried on at camp each summer. The memories you made are very much alive at camp, and joining the Alumni Association is a chance to reconnect with us and the many people who had an impact on your summer experiences. Here are some ways to get involved and stay connected: Let the camp know who you are and how you can be contacted. Hidden Valley 4-H Camp sends out informational emails several times each year. Send your email address to hiddenvalley4hcp@cornell.edu to be put on our email list and stay up to date on events and happenings. Check our web site often. The camp web page has areas that are updated throughout the year. Go to www.hiddenvalley4hcamp.orgVisit the web site’s Discussion Forums. The web site also has a discussion forum available to anyone who cares to register. You do have to register to post, and we encourage you to sign-up–It’s another way we can contact people for reunions, etc.Visit camp! If you are ever “in the neighborhood” while camp is in session, stop on by. In addition to our summer program, we have fall and spring weekends, and we’d love to see you there! Gatherings can be arranged at Spring Camp Weekend (April 25-27, 2008), Family Camp (June 27-29, 2008), or Fall Camp Weekend (October 10-12, 2008).Send your child (or someone else’s for that matter) to Hidden Valley 4-H Camp! Nothing connects you back to Hidden Valley 4-H Camp like having a son or daughter attend the same camp you did. You can also sponsor a camper and give someone who may not otherwise be able to attend the opportunity to gain the Hidden Valley experience.Attend Family Camp (June 27-29). Family Camp is held before “regular” camp starts, and runs from Friday dinner time through Sunday lunch. Families live in camper cabins and eat meals together in the dining hall. There are lots of staffed camp activities and there are programs or campfires each evening. A good number of families that attend are alumni.Contact us today to reconnect with the Hidden Valley 4-H Camp experience!
