Seneca County Sheriff Jack Stenberg reports that Sheriff Deputies responded to a personal injury auto accident on State route 96a in the Town of Romulus. A car driven by 68 YO James A. Reagin of 1985 County Road 139 Ovid was southbound when he drove off the road and into a ditch then striking a culvert end. Firefighters from Ovid Fire Department and South Seneca Ambulance responded to the scene as well. Reagin was treated at the scene for a minor injury and then transported to Geneva General Hospital. A passenger in his car 41 YO Brenda M. Reagin of the same address was not injured. The cause of the accident was due to a preexisting medical condition which Reagin was ailing from. No tickets were issued. The car was heavily damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
