Seneca Falls Police Beat 6/17/09

On 06/16/09 at approximately 9:12 p.m., the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Sherelle D. Moore, age 26, of 10 Goodman Street, Apt. A-1, Geneva, NY 14456 on a warrant for Petit Larceny. Moore is accused of taking property from a village resident in February of 2009. Moore was located by the Geneva Police Department at her residence and was turned over to Seneca Falls Police. She was arraigned before Judge Mahoney and ROR’d and has to re-appear in court on 06/24/09 at 9:00 a.m.On 06/16/09 at approximately 10:47 p.m., the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Mikeal B. Wood, age 28, of 17 James Street, Auburn, NY 13021 for Failure to Appear on the original charges of Failure to Use a Turn Signal and Operating a Motor Vehicle with Suspended Registration. The arrest stems from a bench warrant that was issued out of Seneca Falls Town Court in which Wood is accused on not appearing in court to answer the original charges as ordered to do so by the court. He was arraigned before Judge Mahoney in Seneca Falls Town Court and was released after posting a cash bail of $250. Wood has to re-appear in court to answer the original charges on 07/08/09 at 9:00 a.m.On 06/17/09 at approx. 12:01 AM the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Kevin J. Dingledein, age 21 from 25 Peterman Road Apartment apartment I-3 Seneca Falls, NY for Felony Criminal Mischief in the third degree. The arrest stems from an incident that occured on 06-16-09 at approx. 10:20 PM on Canal Street where Seneca Falls Police were called for a report of a male subject screaming, yelling and had just kicked one of the electrical/water boater supply boxes that are along the canal walls. Seneca Falls Police searched the area and located three subjects on White Street near Green Street that matched the description given by witnesses. The subjects originally denied any involvement in the incident to the Police. The three subjects were then transported back to the scene where witnesses confirmed that these were the three subjects in the area when the damaged occured. After further interrogation by the Seneca Falls Police Department, Dingledein eventually admitted to kickingthe supply box with his foot cracking it off its base. Dingledein was arraigned in the Seneca Falls Town Court in front of Judge Mahoney and committed to the Seneca County correctional Facility on $2,000 cash or $4,000 Ins. bond. A Felony hearing is scheduled in Seneca Falls Town Court on Friday June 19th, 2009 at 4:00PM.
