South Seneca Middle School: Thanksgiving Food Drive

South Seneca Middle School Local Words to Deeds Service Project: Thanksgiving Food DriveThe Middle School student government is sponsoring their annual canned food drive for the Ovid Food Pantry’s Thanksgiving Dinners Project. The National Junior Honor Society members recently presented the pantry with a $300 check to be used for turkeys. Canned goods and fresh produce are desperately needed to round out the 130-150 Thanksgiving meal boxes that are being put together for area families. Suggested items include canned gravy, veggies, cranberry sauce, stuffing, dessert mixes, and condiments. There is also a need for canned soups, peanut butter and jelly, and infant formula. Fundraisers to buy more of the above food include a Dodgeball tournament this week. All donations can be delivered to the South Seneca Middle School Office for delivery to the pantry by Monday, November 23 @ 7AM. Thank You!
