Adopt-A-Number Project

South Seneca Family Adopt-A-Number ProjectDo you have a lucky number? Celebrating the 100th day of school by highlighting math is an 11-year tradition at South Seneca Elementary. This year’s theme is “Adopt-a-Number”. Each family is encouraged to choose a number between 0 and 99 and create a project that highlights that number. Students who participate in this project will be able to participate in a secret activity on the 100th day of school! All projects will be displayed on the 100th day on Friday, February 12th (barring any snow days). Along with a whole school ‘count to 100’ on the 100th minute of the day and completing page 100 of a workbook, we will count how many students wear pajamas on that day! For information, questions, or to reserve a number, please contact Todd Kurzweil, South Seneca Elementary Remedial Math teacher at tkurzweil@southseneca.k12.ny.us or 607 869 9636 x 2136.
