Cayuga Wine Trail’s Greyhound Wine Tour & Friends

Join us for our fifth Greyhound Wine Tour & Friends event where the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail “Has Gone to the Dogs”. We are inviting not only Greyhounds but other large breeds as well! Our event begins on Thursday, June 24 through Sunday June 27. Enjoy one, two or all four fun filled days of exceptional festivities.You will be welcomed at sixteen wineries along the trail for wine tastings, lawn concerts, great food, a silent auction plus a whole lot more! Each human participant will delight in fine wine and picnic type foods at each of the 16 wineries and in addition receive a wine glass, wine charm plus treats for your dog.Wine and food pairings are always included at our events and here are a few easy quick picnic foods to choose from, Hosmer’s Baked Beans made with Smokey BBQ sauce, spicy brown mustard and molasses. At Cobblestone Farm Winery delight in their Cherry Poppy Seed Cookies and at King Ferry Winery on the east side of the lake enjoy their Mystere–ious Berry Cake soaked in their delicious Mystere wine.New to this event is our double mix of trails, the Ithaca Art Trail with the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail. This year we have opened our event with the local artists in the area and you will have the opportunity to see their beautiful creations, pottery, glass sculptures, photography, watercolors and so much more.Besides our great giveaway of a one night stay at the Hampton Inn in Ithaca, the Corning Museum of Glass has donated a two beautiful menagerie hand-blown greyhound stemware pieces. They are exquisite. Make sure to turn in your tickets at the end of the event to be eligible. Advance Sale Tickets are $28.00 (plus sales tax and handling fee). Designated Driver tickets are available.
