Three arrested in Seneca County for Welfare Fraud

05/26/2010 – Seneca County Sheriff’s Investigators in cooperation with the Seneca County Department of Human Services arrested three persons for various charges related to welfare fraud. All three were arraigned in the Village of Waterloo Court on May 26th 2010 at 1000 am.Arrested were the following:Michael R. Taylor, age 26, of 828 West River Road, Apt. 2, Waterloo, New York charged with Welfare Fraud in the Third Degree. He was released and is scheduled to reappear in Village Court on 06/15/10 at 10:00am.Carrie A. Pehrson, age 29, of 65 Church Street, Waterloo, New York was charged with Welfare Fraud in the Fourth Degree and Offering a False Instrument for Filing in the Second Degree. She was released and is scheduled to reappear in Village Court on 07/21/10 at 9:00am. Sheila I. Rosario, age 25, of 13 VanRenssalear Street, Apt. 5, Seneca Falls, New York was charged with Offering a False Instrument for Filing in the First Degree. She was committed to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 insurance bond.
