South Seneca New National Honor Society Inductees

South Seneca recently held induction ceremonies for some exemplary middle and high school students who were chosen for the honor of being an Honor Society inductee.South Seneca National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) Inductees: 6th Grade: Jesse Alexander, Eli Corning, Nicholas Lane, Lincoln Lowe, Morgan McGonigal, Elizabeth Muzzy, Jonathan Reff, Nga Ruckdeschel, Ryan Shields, Victoria Sturdivant, Anna Mae Williams, Emma Worrell. 7th Grade: Brittani Bub, Brianna Halsey, Kalyn Moore, Monique Sheldon. 8th Grade: Blake Antal, Chandra McGonigal, Cortney Waid. Gertrude Shaffer is the NJHS advisor. South Seneca National Senior Honor Society (NHS) Inductees: Jasmine Delong, Ben Dey, Christy Donaldson, J. P. McGill, Brittany Updike, Hayden Wagner, Sarah Brewer. Laura Taylor and Heather Mott are the NSHS co-advisors. NHS and NJHS are the nation’s premier organizations established to recognize outstanding high school and middle level students. More than just an honor roll, NHS and NJHS serve to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character (and Citizenship for NJHS). These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since their beginnings in 1921 and 1929. Congratulations students!
