Lodi man charged with 39 counts of felony rape

Seneca County Sheriff’s Investigators arrested and charged a Town of Lodi man with numerous charges resulting from an extreme domestic violence case involving sexual and physical abuse. The investigation that began on October 11th 2010 alleged that a 25 year old female was repeatedly beaten, choked, and abused sexually over several weeks.On Thursday, Sheriff’s Investigators arrested Darin M. Parsons, age 34, of 2649 State Route 96A Lodi NY on numerous felony charges. Parsons was charged with:39 counts of Rape 1st, a class B felony22 counts of Criminal Sex act 1st, a class B felony1 count of Attempted Criminal Sex Act 1st, a class C felony1 count of Sexual abuse, a class D felony1 count of Attempted Assault 2nd, a class E felony1 count of Assault 3rd, a class A MisdemeanorAlso discovered during the investigation were allegation that Parsons made death threats to the victim, witnesses and the victim’s family.A search warrant was executed at Parson’s residence on 10/12/10 which resulted in the seizing of physical evidence.The investigation is continuing. At this time there is evidence of additional victims that were abused by Parsons.Parsons was arraigned in the Town of Lodi Court and was committed to the Seneca County Jail in lieu of $100,00 cash or $200,000 secured bail bond. The court issued a full “stay away” order of protection.
