All aboard Waterloo Rotary’s Pumpkin Express

WATERLOO – WOOOOO Here it comes! That wonderful Halloween tradition, the Waterloo Rotary Pumpkin Express is set for another run. The Pumpkin Express Halloween train ride will be one day only, Sunday, October 31, at noon and 3 p.m. Costumed adults and children may board the train in Waterloo behind the Main Street Elementary School for the hour-long ride to Cayuga.There, at the municipal park in front of the Cayuga Village Hall, families can enjoy a corn maze that winds through several rooms, including the witches’ kitchen, Frankenstein’s den, the funeral parlor and the mad scientist’s lab. There will be games and other activities, as well as cider and doughnut refreshments. Each rider will receive a Halloween Trick or Treat goodie bag. A cash concession stand in Cayuga will offer hot dogs and hamburgers.Costumed Rotarians and Interact members will add to the fun on board the train and in the park. Tickets are available only online at www.fingerlakesscenicrailway.com or by calling Finger Lakes Railway at 315-209-1029. Cost is $15 for adults and children age 3 and older.The Pumpkin Express is Waterloo Rotary’s major fund raising event.
