Man charged with felonies after SF dispute

On 3/10/2011 at about 8:51 PM, Seneca Falls Police arrested Aaron M. Ward age 25, of 15 Clinton Street Seneca Falls. Ward was charged with Criminal Contempt 1st, a felony, also Criminal Obstruction of Breathing or Blood Circulation and also Harassment 2nd. Police were dispatched to Ward’s residence where it was reported that an altercation was occurring between a male and female with a knife involved. Officer’s separated both parties and secured the knife that was found laying in the front yard. Upon investigation it allegedly reported that Ward was choking a female making it difficult for her to breath and also allegedly striking the female several time in the face with a closed fist. During the altercation Ward had been injured from the knife, but refused to be transported to the hospital. Further investigation revealed an Order of Protection between the two parties. Ward was arraigned in the Town of Seneca Falls Court in front of Judge Mahoney and was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $20,000 dollars cash bail or $40,000 dollars insured bond. Ward is scheduled for a Felony Hearing on 3/16/2011 at 2PM at the Town of Seneca Falls Court.
