Seneca Falls Farmer’s Market Report – 6/28

In case you are into that sort of thing, the Seneca Falls Farmers Market is now on Facebook! Check of SF Farmers Market on FB to see the latest happenings, like a video from “That Getaway Guy” on RNEWS featuring our favorite Market! Even if you don’t “friend” us, stop by and visit when you get a chance, that’s what social media is all about! We have reusable bags for sale at the market. BRIGHT green bags (so you remember to take them with you when you go somewhere) with the Farm Market Federation logo and our Market prominently displayed. Stop by our Manager’s Tent to check them out.We are thrilled with the addition of Chef Sean and the cuisine of Hotel Clarence/Vineyard 108 at the market. Lunch has never been sweeter and the service with a smile is a great treat!Stop by tomorrow as we are heading into prime season for fresh goods in our area. Fruits, veggies, cheese, flowers, chicken and more always ready at the Seneca Falls Farmers Market in People’s Park from 9 AM – 1 PM (or so) every Wednesday!See you there! If you haven’t tried Stony Brook Butternut Squash Seed Oil get over to the Agricultural Experiment Station/Tech Farm of Cornell in Geneva and get some! They have three varieties of oils for sale and there is NOTHING you can make that can’t be improved by one of them! How about a quick dipping oil with crusty Italian Bread for company or an easy appetizer? Swirled in your scrambled eggs for a subtle, nutty flavor? Even pop your popcorn with a TBSP or two added to Canola or Grapeseed Oil (which have almost no flavor of their own) in the popper, and WOW! What a treat!
