Two-car accident on Packwood Rd. in Waterloo

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports on April 15, 2012 at 5:08 pm Sheriff Deputies responded to a two car personal injury motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Waterloo Geneva Rd and Packwood Rd. A vehicle being operated by Bonnie M Principio, age 46 of 30 Hallenbeck Ave Geneva, NY was stopped in traffic and attempting to make a left turn on to Packwood Rd when she was rear ended by a vehicle being operated by Shannon R Smith, age 33 of 41 Church St Apt F8 Waterloo, NY. Passengers in the Principio vehicle were Edward M Principio age 17 and Hunter W Hall age 10 both of 30 Hallenbeck Ave Geneva, and Angelica K Morrissette age 17 of 2819 Miller Rd Waterloo. Edward Principio was transported to Geneva General Hospital via Ambulance for a possible back injury. Hunter Hall was transported to Geneva General Hospital by personal vehicle to get checked over. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage and needed to be towed from the scene. Upon further investigation it was determined that Smith was attempting to pass Principio on the right. Smith was issued traffic citations for following too closely and improper passing. Assisting at the scene was North Seneca Ambulance and Border City Fire Department.
