Seneca County District Attorney Barry Porsch announced that the following criminal dispositions took place in County Court on April 16, 2012:Marjorie Rotz, 46 years old, of Fall Street, Seneca Falls, NY was sentenced, as a second felony offender, to a state prison term of 2 to 4 years as a result of her conviction for falsifying business records in the first degree (class E felony). Rotz was arrested by the Waterloo Police Department following in an incident that took place from June to October 2011 at Waterloo Memorial Heights, W. Main Street, in the Village of Waterloo.Benito Guzman, Jr., 34 years old, of Waterloo Geneva Road, Waterloo NY, was convicted of failure to register as a sex offender (class D felony) and sentenced to 90 days in the county jail and a $325 mandatory surcharge. Guzman was arrested by the Seneca Falls Police Department after he failed to register from May to August 2011 while residing in Seneca Falls.Troy Randleman, 22 years old, of West Avenue, Geneva, NY was sentenced, as a second felony offender, to four years in state prison and a three-year period of post-release supervision as a result of his conviction for assault in the second degree (a class D felony). Randleman’s conviction stemmed from his assault of a Seneca Falls Police Officer on November 5, 2011 following a disturbance at a Seneca Falls business.Manuel Guillen, 23 years old, currently an inmate at Southport Correctional Facility, Pine City, NY, was sentenced, as a second felony offender, to an additional prison term of 1½ to 3 years for his conviction of attempted promoting prison contraband in the first degree (class E felony) and unlawful possession of marijuana. Guillen’s conviction stemmed from his 2010 attempt, while an inmate at Five Points Correctional Facility, to smuggle a small knife blade and a small amount of marijuana into the Facility after a visiting room meeting.Marjorie Marro, 46 years old, of Fall Street, Seneca Falls, NY was convicted of violation of probation and sentenced to a state prison term of 1 to 3 years. Marro had been serving a probation sentence upon a 2007 conviction in Ontario County for grand larceny in the third degree. Marro violated probation after she committed another felony in 2011.Nancy Knight, 55 years old, of Clyde, NY was sentenced to a five-year term of probation and ordered to perform128 hours of community service following her conviction of grand larceny in the third degree (class D felony) and official misconduct (class A misdemeanor). Knight previously paid restitution in the amount of $6,163.57. The Seneca County Sheriff’s Department arrested Knight for the theft of money from the Town of Fayette in 2011.Darrell L. Preston, 50 years old, of Main Street, Waterloo NY, was sentenced to a five-year term of probation and directed to pay a $1,000 fine and $520 state surcharge following his conviction for felony aggravated driving while intoxicated. Preston was arrested by the Seneca Falls Police Department on November 30, 2011 on W. Bayard Street in the Village of Seneca Falls.
