Man arrested living in Romulus home that wasn’t his

Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Investigators report that on 07-21-12 Quentin J Gonnella age 21 was arrested for two counts of Grand larceny 4th, Petit Larceny, Burglary 2nd and Criminal Mischief 3rd. It is alleged that from July 13th 2012 until July 21st 2012 Gonnella was unlawfully residing in a seasonal home in the Town of Romulus. While there he had used credit and debit cards to purchase items on line and for access to paid internet sites on the home owner’s computer. Gonnella was also using the personal items in the house as his own. It was found that he had broken a window in order to gain access to the home. It is alleged that Gonnella was using this home as if it was his as he is currently homeless and allegedly from the Kentucky and Auburn areas. Upon discovering Gonnella in the home he fled the scene and was apprehended a short time later after a foot chase. Gonnella was arraigned before Justice VanCleef and was committed to jail in lieu of $5,000.00 cash or $10,000.00 secure bail bond. He is to reappear on 07-25-12 @ 1030 hrs to answer the charges. The New York State Park Police assisted in the apprehension of Gonnella.
