Cocaine, handgun & infant net arrests in Geneva

A Friday morning execution of a search warrant on Main Street in Geneva has resulted in the arrest of two individuals after cocaine and a loaded handgun were found along with a 4 month old infant.At 6:50 am on Friday morning, members of the Geneva Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit executed a narcotics search warrant at 330½ Main Street in the City of Geneva. Two suspects were taken into custody at that address. An amount of powdered cocaine, currency and a loaded handgun were seized as a result of this month long investigation. At the time of the Search Warrant a 4 month old infant was present in the apartment.Arrested and taken into custody on Friday morning were:Geneva Arrests 8/2/13Rafael Baez Santiago III, age 26 of 330 ½ Main Street in Geneva. Santiago III was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance Third Degree, a Class B Felony & Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree, a Class D Felony. He is being held with bail set at $25,000 cash and $50,000 bond.Tahirah Akilah Hoover, age 19 of 330 ½ Main Street in Geneva. Hoover was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance Third Degree, a Class B Felony & Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree. Hoover’s bail is set at $25,000 cash and $50,000 bond.Additional arrests will be made.
