Two arrested for theft at SF-W’loo Walmart

On Tuesday, Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Steven L. Smith, age 46 of 1228 Waterloo-Geneva Road in Waterloo, for AUO 2nd and Failure to yield the right of way after he pulled out in front of a Seneca Falls Police Officer who was looking for a suspect who stole merchandise from Walmart.Further investigation found that Steven was in the parking lot of Walmart to pick up Arcangelo Soler Jr. who left running westbound on foot from Walmart. Shortly after, police arrested Arcangelo Soler Jr., age 45 of 1228 Waterloo-Geneva Road in Waterloo, after he stole children’s toys valued at $158.64 in a Christmas gift bag.Soler Jr. was stopped by Walmart Loss Prevention after he pasted the last point of sale. Soler Jr. then dropped the gift bag and ran from the store.Soler Jr. turned himself in after learning the Seneca Fall Police Department arrested Steven L. Smith and were towing Soler Jr.’s vehicle that was used to drive to Walmart.
