Police find crack packaged for sale in Seneca Falls raid

On November 20, 2014, the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit arrested two subjects following a joint investigation with the Seneca Falls Police Department into the sale and distribution of illicit drugs in the local community.Arrested were the following:Brandon C. Gregory, age 29, of 59 Bridge Street, Upstairs Apartment, Seneca Falls, New York, was charged with:Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (two counts), Class B FeloniesCriminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a Class B FelonyAttempted Escape in the Third Degree, a Class B MisdemeanorUnlawful Possession of Marijuana, a ViolationNataly A. Veras, age 22, also of 59 Bridge Street, Upstairs Apartment, Seneca Falls, New York, was charged with:Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a Class B FelonyUnlawful Possession of Marijuana, a ViolationThe investigation concluded with members of the Sheriff’s Office, Seneca Falls Police Department, and the New York State Police executing a search warrant at 59 Bridge Street, Upstairs Apartment, in the Town of Seneca Falls. A quantity of marijuana, a digital scale, over $1,900 in United States Currency, and packaging materials were found at the apartment. It was further discovered that Gregory was in possession of thirty (30) individually packaged baggies of crack cocaine. While Gregory was in police custody, he attempted to jump out a second story window. Gregory was uninjured and was restrained by officers on scene. It is further alleged that Gregory and Veras have been selling heroin in the local area.Both Gregory and Veras were arraigned in the Tyre Town Court before Judge Jans-Duffy. Gregory was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $20,000 cash bail/$40,000 secured bond. Veras was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $2,500 cash bail/$5,000 secured bond. Both are to reappear in the Tyre Town Court on November 25, 2014 at 5pm. Additional charges are pending.
