Seneca Falls Police Beat for 12/6/14

On 12/2/14 at approximately 11:53 pm the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Timothy J. Newby, age 34, of 2 Fall Street Apt. 25 Seneca Falls, NY 13148 for Criminal Contempt in the second degree. The arrest stems from Newby violating a Court Order of Protection. Newby was arraigned in the Town of Seneca Falls Court in front of the Honorable Judge Laquidari. Newby was committed to the SCCF on $2500 cash bail or $5000 Insurance Bond. Newby is due back in court on 12/10/14 at 10am to answer the charges.On November 26, 2014 at approximately 3:34pm, the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Daniel L. Cremin, age 62, of 106 Washington Street, Geneva, NY 14456 on an arrest warrant for Forcible Touching out of the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department. It was alleged that on October 23, 2014 Cremin Forcibly Touched a female resident at a residential facility on State Route 89. Cremin was arraigned in the Town of Seneca Falls Town Court and is to reappear on Dec., 10, 2014 to answer to the charge.On November 22nd, 2014 at about 3:17pm the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested James A. Hennigan Jr, age 20, of 26H Stanton Meadows, Seneca Falls, NY 13148 for Petit Larceny. Hennigan was observed stealing merchandise from a Town of Seneca Falls business in the amount of $141.73 and passing all points of sale without paying. Hennigan was released on an Appearance Ticket and is due in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on 12/01/14 at 5:00PM.On 12/06/14 at approximately 12:25 am the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Thomas L. Cote, age 19, of 3759 Huntley Road, Lot 21, Marion, NY on two bench warrants for failure to appear on original charges of Unlawful Possession of Alcohol While Under the Age of 21. He was arraigned in Seneca Falls Town Court before the Honorable Judge Lafler and committed to the SCCF on $500 Cash/$1000 Bond. He is to reappear in Town Court on 01/14/15 at 9:00 am to answer the charges. The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the arrest.On November 28th, 2014 at about 06:12 a.m. the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Enrique A. Quintanilla, age 42, of 4 Rumsey Street following a traffic stop on SR 5 & 20 in the Town of Seneca Falls. Quintanilla was ticketed for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd degree a misdemeanor and Driving with no headlights a violation. Quintanilla was released on his recognizance and is due in court 12/8/14 at 6:00 pm.On 12/01/14 at approximately 6:04 pm the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Steve B. Odney, age 25, of 88 1/2 E. Bayard Street, Seneca Falls, NY for Petit Larceny. Odney is accused of stealing $63.69 worth of merchandise from a local business. He was released on an appearance ticket and is to appear in Town of Seneca Falls Court on 12/08/14 at 6:00 pm to answer the charge.On November 24th, 2014 at approx. 1:57pm, the Town of Seneca Falls Police arrested Tiffany A. Gushlaw, age 26, of 25 Peterman Road, Apartment A3, Seneca Falls, NY 13148 for Petit Larceny. It is alleged that Gushlaw stole items from a local business worth $31.98. It was further discovered that Gushlaw had a warrant out of Seneca County Family Court. Gushlaw was arraigned in the Town of Fayette Court on both charges. Gushlaw was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500.00 cash, $1,000.00 bond on the Petit Larceny charge and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on 12/04/2014 at 10:00am to answer to the charges. Gushlaw was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on no bail for the family court warrant and is scheduled to appear in family court on 11/25/2014 at a time to be determined by Judge Bender. On 11/21/14 at approximately 8:51pm the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Robert C. Bernardez, age 29, of 295 Hamilton Street Apt. 50 Geneva, NY for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the third degree. Bernardez was stopped for driving without a headlight and was found to have a suspended license. Bernardez was issued tickets for both the headlight and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the third degree and was released to a third party. Bernardez is due in the Town of Seneca Falls court on 12/01/14 at 6:00pm to answer the charges. On 11/23/14 at approximately 9:43 pm the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Nicollette L. Carson, age 21, of 166 Lewis Street Apt. 2 Geneva, NY for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the second degree. The arrest stems from a traffic stop that was conducted due to the vehicle that was being driven had a suspended registration. Upon stopping the vehicle it was found that Carson was driving with a license that had multiple suspensions on it. Carsons was then arraigned in the Town of Seneca Falls Court were he was ROR. Carson is due back in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on 1/08/15 to answer the charges.On 11/21/2014 at 11:37 the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Desaray Marcano of Hawley Street in Seneca Falls for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the third degree, a misdemeanor. It is alleged that on the aforementioned date Desaray was operating her motor vehicle when she was stopped by an officer for speeding. Marcano’s license was checked and found to be suspended, she was subsequently arrested. Marcano was issued Uniform Traffic Tickets for speeding and for Aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree, and then released. Marcano is to appear in the Seneca Falls Town court on 12/01/2014 at 6:00PM.On November 20th, 2014 at approx. 10:53am, the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Patrick Laforte Jr., age 72, of 550 South Ocean Boulevard, Apartment 702, Boca Raton, Florida following a traffic stop on SR 414 in the Town of Seneca Falls. Laforte was ticketed for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd degree a misdemeanor and speed in zone a violation. Laforte was arraigned in the Town Of Seneca Falls Court and was release of his own recognizance and is scheduled to re-appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on 1/28/2015 at 10:00am to answer to the charges.
