Seneca Falls Police Beat for 12/22/14

On Friday December 12, 2014 at 5:09 pm the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Xavier J. Chance, age 25, of 25 Lawrence Street, Lyons on a warrant issued by the Town of Seneca Falls Court. The warrant was issued by the court after Chance failed to appear in court after he was issued an appearance ticket for the original charge of Petit Larceny. Chance was arraigned in the Town of Seneca Falls Court in front of Honorable Judge Laquidari. Chance was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1000.00 cash or $2000.00 bond, he is scheduled to re-appear in court on 01/08/2015 at 5:00 pm.On Sunday December 14, 2014 at 3:11 pm the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Eugene W. Miller, age 62, of 19 1/2 Church Street, Waterloo for Petit Larceny. It is alleged that Miller stole merchandise from a Town of Seneca Falls business. Miller was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on 01/05/2015 at 5:00 pm. On 12/19/14 at 1:58 pm the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Kyle S. Armstrong, age 21, of 28 North Street, Apt. 1, Geneva, NY for Petit Larceny. Armstrong is accused of taking $128.76 worth of merchandise from a Town of Seneca Falls business without paying for the items, then returning them and exchanging them for a gift card. Armstrong was released on an appearance ticket and is to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on 12/22/14 at 6:00 pm.On Wednesday December 18, 2014 at 7:45 pm the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Jay A. Clary, age 29, of 2133 State Route 5 & 20, Seneca Falls on a warrant that was issued by the Town of Seneca Fall Court. The arrest stems from an investigation of a trespass that occurred at a home in the Town of Seneca Falls, It’s alleged that Clary entered the home without permission. Clary was arraigned in the Town of Seneca Falls Court in front of Honorable Judge Laquidari. Judge Laquidari released Clary on his own recognizance and scheduled him to re-appear in town court on 01/08/2015 at 5:00 pm. On December 17th, 2014 at approx. 7:16pm, the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Tiffany M. Hushour, age 29, of 350 SR 5 & 20 for Petit Larceny. It is alleged that Hushour stole an item from a Town of Seneca Falls business totaling $29.77. Hushour was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on 01/15/15 at 10:00am to answer to the charges. Upon further investigation, Hushour was found to have an active bench warrant out of the Town of Phelps Court in Ontario County. Hushour was transported to Ontario County and turned over to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Department for the bench warrant. On 12/17/2014 at approx. 12:02am, the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Donna M. Figueroa, age 59, of 36 Haigh Street, Seneca Falls, NY for Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Harassment 2nd. The arrest stems from a Domestic Dispute in the Town of Seneca Falls where it was alleged Figueroa engaged in a physical altercation with another Town resident in front of a child. Figueroa was arraigned in the Town of Seneca Falls Court and ROR’d. Figueroa is scheduled to answer the charges on January 8th, 2015 at 5:00PM in the Town of Seneca Falls Court.On 12/10/14 at approximately 10:23 am the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Aubrey S. Asbrand, age 20, of 388 Wealthy Lane, Ontario, NY for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd Degree following a police investigation into a Property Damage Accident. She is accused of operating a vehicle while her driving privileges were suspended. She was issued a ticket to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on 12/18/14 at 10:00 am to answer the charge.On 12/14/2014 at approx. 1:10am, the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Patrick J. Costello, age 31, of 14 Auburn Road Apt. 3 Seneca Falls, NY 13148 following a physical altercation that occurred at a residence in the Town of Seneca Falls. It is alleged that Costello struck another Town of Seneca Falls resident multiple times in the face with a closed fist. It is also alleged that during the altercation, Costello held a knife to the throat of the resident. Costello was charged with 4 misdemeanors; Criminal Possession of a weapon in the 4th degree, Menacing in the 2nd degree, Obstructing governmental administration in the 2nd degree, and resisting arrest, and harassment in the 2nd degree, a violation. Costello was arraigned in the Town of Seneca Falls Court and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,500 cash, $3,000 bond and is scheduled to re-appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on 01/14/2014 at 9:00am. A class A order of protection was issued for the victim. The victim sustained minor injuries.On 12/13/2014 at approx. 12:56am, the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Jacob A. Brege, age 26, of 1258 County Road 6 in Phelps, NY 14532 following a traffic stop on Fall Street in the Town of Seneca Falls. Police observed Brege passing a red signal and performed a traffic stop on Fall Street. Brege was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of more than .08%, DWI and Passed Red Signal. Brege was issued UTT’s and released and is schedule to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on 01/05/2015 at 6:00pm to answer to the charges. On 12/14/2014 the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Dana W. Buchanan, age 61, of 167 Hidden Pines Drive Newfield, NY for Operating a Vehicle while Registration Suspended. Buchanan was issued UTT’s and released. Buchanan is to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on 01/05/2015 at 5:00pm to answer to the charges.
