Fire engulfed a home near the stone quarry on County Road 121 (Canoga Road) late Friday night in southern Seneca Falls as multiple area departments responded. UPDATE: The home was a total loss but there were no injuries aside from a single firefighter who was treated for smoke inhalation. As many as a dozen companies responded from three counties and water was trucked in to the scene. There was nobody home at the time of the fire. From the Seneca County Sheriff on Monday morning: The Seneca County Sheriffs Office reports that on the 20th of March 2015 around 11:00pm Sheriffs Deputies responded to 2664 County Road 121 Seneca Falls NY for a report of a house on fire. The house is owned by Donald and Donna Gee of the same address. The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time and is still under investigation. Nobody was injured during the fire. The damage is estimated to be around 300,000 Dollars. Canoga Fire Department was assisted by Fayette Fire Department, Varrick Fire Department, Seneca Falls Fire Department, Waterloo Fire Department, Border City Fire Department and Cayuga Fire Department.
