The New York State Thruway authority is saying that those traveling westbound between exits 39 and 41 will be diverted off at exit 39. Travel has become next-to-impossible with white out conditions, multiple accidents, and reports of deteriorating conditions as emergency crews work to clear at least one major accident in the westbound lanes.
