The Clyde Police Department reports that a pair of individuals were arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child on March 5th and 6th. The first incident, which occurred on March 5th at approximately 4:45 pm when Clyde Police arrested Shannon Leach, 47, of Sodus for endangering the welfare of a child after leaving her three children; ranging in age from 19 months to 4-years-old alone, unsupervised while she left the home to run errands. She was issued an appearance ticket and is set to appear in Galen Town Court on March 23rd before Judge Carr.The second arrest took place on March 6th at approximately 6:56 pm when Clyde Police arrested Jesse Stanton, 24, of Newark for endangering the welfare of a child. He allegedly allowed his child in his running vehicle while he was at the laundromat. The child was approximately a year old. He was also issued an appearance ticket to appear in Galen Town Court on March 23rd, as well, before Judge Carr.
