A Seneca Falls woman was sent to the hospital following an accident on Monday morning, when her vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office says that Carolyn Balzer, 39, of Seneca Falls was in the Town of Geneva on County Road 6 when her vehicle exited the east shoulder of the highway striking a tree. Following the accident, deputies say she was transported to Geneva General Hospital after complaining of neck and leg pain. Balzer was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, and her vehicle was towed from the scene. Air bags deployed from the vehicle, according to deputies who were on the scene. She was ticketed for failure to keep right. She will answer the charge in Geneva Town Court.Finger Lakes Ambulance and the White Springs Fire Department assisted at the scene.
