Seneca County Sheriff Tim Luce reports that on Sunday, April 10th at approximately 3:00 pm deputies arrested a pair of men in Seneca County on a variety of drug-related charges. The charges stem from an investigation into a suspicious vehicle on Zwick Road in the Town of Fayette.The two individuals arrested during the stop were:Vincent E. Freeman, 51, of Geneva – who was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, and criminal possession of marijuana in the fourth degree.James R. Boorman, 27, of Waterloo – who was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and criminal possession of marijuana in the fourth degree. Both were arrested on Zwick Road, where the investigation into the suspicious vehicle took place.Freeman, who is a New York State Parolee, according to deputies, was arraigned on the above charges as well as on a violation of parole warrant, which was issued by the New York State Parole Office. He was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility without bail. He is scheduled to appear in Fayette Town Court on May 4th.Boormon was released on appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear at the Fayette Town Court on May 4th to answer the above charges.
