The Geneva Business Improvement District has announced a new slate of officers for the coming year. Past President Bob Stivers (Stivers Enterprises) has stepped down after six years as BID Board President. New to the position is David Linger (Finger Lakes Gifts and Lounge). Linger has served on the BID Board as Vice President for the past five years. Stepping into the Vice President position is Julie Adams (Halsey’s Restaurant) who has served on the BID Board for the past few years. In the seat of Secretary remains Tom Burrall (C.S. Burrall and Son, Inc.) who has been an active board member for a number of years. The seat of Treasurer remains with John Barnes (Finger Lakes Federal Credit Union) who was added to the BID Board in 2015.Executive Director John Hicks stated working with Bob Stivers was a rewarding experience. The board and director appreciated Stivers’ contribution and dedication to the business district. Hicks further stated he was looking forward to in his last six months to finishing out his tenure with the Geneva BID with the opportunity to work with Linger as the new President.
