Update: Wednesday, June 8th at 2 pmThe Geneva Police Department reports that five individuals were arrested and charged with riot in the first degree — a class E felony. The individuals were arraigned on Wednesday and additional charges are expected as the investigation continues.In addition, several more arrests are forthcoming, according to Geneva Police Chief Jeffrey Trickler. The individuals charged thus far range in age from 16 to 18. Bail has been set on all charged parties at $5,000 cash or $10,000 insurance bond.The following individuals were charged on Wednesday:• Ramaj M. Durant, 17, of Geneva• Jemar M. All information can remain confidential.Original: Monday, June 6thOn Monday, the Geneva Police Department received multiple calls on the property of Geneva General Hospital — located on North Street — of a disturbance involving numerous people. Officers from Geneva, as well as deputies from Ontario County responded to the area to find several individuals who were involved in a disturbance, where several had suffered various minor injuries. Approximately six minutes later the Geneva Police Department responded to another disturbance, which involved over 50 people and blocked North Main Street, driveways and residences.
