A 66-year-old Victor man was arrested on Friday, after he was stopped on Bemis Street in Canandaigua by Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies.
Authorities say that Frederick A. Smith, 66, of Victor was stopped on Bemis Street int he City of Canandaigua where he was found to have an invalid form of licensing while operating a vehicle. He had a non-driver’s license, which had been revoked due to a prior DWI. He was also found to be operating a motor vehicle without an interlock device, which was required by law due to a previous conviction.
He was arraigned in Canandaigua City Court and released on his own recognizance. Smith will answer the charges at a later date.
