One person was hospitalized Saturday afternoon after an accident in Manchester on County Road 19.
Deputies say that Russell Eastwood, 83, of Watkins Glen was traveling south on Freshour Road when he stopped at a stop sign and entered the intersection with County Road 19.
When Eastwood pulled out onto County Road 19 he pulled into the path of a vehicle being operated by Cody Lyke, 18, of Clifton Springs.
Deputies say that Eastwood complained of shoulder pain, and his passenger was not injured. Lyke was not injured in the accident. However Eastwood was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for his injuries.
Air bags were not deployed and all involved were wearing seat belts, according to deputies.
