We usually wait till the end of September before we make a trip to Hammondsport, NY and then drive up the hill to the Bully Hill Winery to look at the fall foliage. But Saturday was such a beautiful clear day that we decided to see how the vineyards are doing and how Keuka Lake looks from Bully Hill Winery.
I am always amazed that when these vineyards were established, the mode of transportation was a horse drawn wagon. Fortunately for us, our modern cars don’t even seem to labor as we make the assent up the hill.
