Case involving alleged theft of safe containing $95K heads back to trial

Testimony is set to begin Wednesday in the trial for the Waterloo man facing up to 15 years in prison on felony burglary and grand larceny charges following the alleged 2010 theft of a safe containing nearly $100,000.

It isn’t the first time Paul Paradise’s case has come before a jury. In July, Judge Craig Doran declared a mistrial that was granted after it was determined that a juror failed to disclose the full extent of their criminal history.
