Seneca Falls man charged with assault, menacing after domestic dispute

On October 10th at 12:56 am the Town of Seneca Falls Police arrested Lawrence S. Barnes Jr., 24, of Seneca Falls for menacing in the second degree and assault in the third degree following a domestic dispute.

Barnes is accused of throwing a knife and hitting a male victim in the face with an electrical cord causing a laceration. He was arraigned in the Seneca Falls Town Court and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $750 cash bail or $1,500 secured bond.

Barnes is to reappear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on November 9th at 9 am. An Order of Protection was issued for the victim.
