Troopers search Macedon property in 1994 disappearance

Reports indicate that New York State Troopers are investigating a home, as well as a pond on a property which was at the center of a disappearance that took place 22 years ago.

According to reports, troopers are at a home on Weidrick Road in Macedon. There hadn’t been any new developments in the case, but reports on social media indicate that around a dozen trooper’s vehicles are at the scene.

Sandra Sollie, who went missing in 1994 was last seen at a shopping center in Macedon in May of that year. At the time, she was pregnant and due with her child just two months later. Sollie’s disappearance has largely been a mystery over the last two decades, as resources to locate the woman have largely dried up.

Leads slowed after her disappearance, and it wasn’t clear to local authorities what might have spurred the incident. Now though, it would appear as though new life has been pushed into the case.
