Naples man ticketed after crash on 5&20 in Canandaigua

One person failing to yield the right of way allegedly led to a three car crash at the corner of Hickox Road and State Route 5&20 in the Town of Canandaigua on Thursday.

Deputies say that Franklin Parshall, of Naples failed to yield the right of way when turning onto Hickox Road when he struck a vehicle being operated Patrick Michatek, of Macedon.

Parshall was taken to F.F. Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua by Canandaigua Ambulance following the accident. Neither Patrick Michatek, or Clara Mead, who were operating the other two vehicles involved suffered any injuries.

All three airbags deployed, and Parshall was reportedly the only driver not wearing a seatbelt.

Parshall was also cited for not wearing his seatbelt. He will answer all of the charges in Canandaigua Town Court.
