Naples graduate an Oxford University scholar

George Kotlik credits his parents — immigrants from two different countries who struggled to make it in America — along with his own determination for where he is today. A 2014 graduate of Naples Central School, Kotlik is studying at Oxford University’s New College on a path to eventually earning a law degree. New College is one of Oxford’s largest colleges, part of the oldest university in the English-speaking world and a leading center of learning, teaching and research. Through a program run by State University of New York at Brockport, Kotlik is immersed in Colonial North American History between 1607 and 1812 and Late Medieval English History.
