Geneva man charged with grand larceny after stealing over $1,500

On November 4th at 5:00 pm the Seneca County Sheriff Deputies arrested Nathan J. Otero, 21, of Geneva for grand larceny in the fourth degree and falsifying business records in the first degree.

The charges stem from an investigation into multiple incidents while Otero was employed at a Town of Waterloo business. During the month of October, Otero would ring up a customer and then void the transaction and steal the money.

The total value stolen was $1502.29. Otero was arraigned in the Town of Waterloo Court and remanded to the Seneca County Jail in lieu of $1,500 cash or $3,000 bail bond. He is to re-appear in court on November 8th, 2016 to answer to the charges.
