Palmyra fight between neighbors leads to multiple charges and arrests

A pair of Palmyra residents were arrested after a neighbor dispute, according to deputies in Wayne County.

Sheriff Barry Virts says that Niki Hanna, 40 of Palmyra and Sheldon W. LaVigne, 16, of Palmyra were involved in a neighbor dispute where it is alleged that Hanna illegally entered the residence of another and started a verbal altercation.

Hanna was charged with second-degree criminal trespass. LaVigne was charged with third-degree assault and second degree endangering the welfare of a child. He was also charged with second-degree harassment.

Hanna and LaVigne were released on appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear in Palmyra Town Court at a later date.
