Seneca County Sheriff Tim Luce released his office’s monthly report, highlighting their activity for the month of November.

LAW ENFORCEMENT:

Total Calls For Service: 1,104
Total Arrests: 35

NARCOTICS:

Total new drug cases: 4
Total arrests: 6

CORRECTIONS:

Average Number of Inmates: 68
Monthly Total Made for Boarding In: $34,875.06 Yearly Total: $523,823.30

CIVIL:

Total Summons/Complaints/Services: 42
Total Income Executions: 8
Total Evictions: 4

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MONTH:

11/01/2016: Investigators made a felony assault arrest in the Town of Ovid.

11/03/2016: While investigating a larceny complaint in the Town of Junius Deputies chased and apprehended 2 suspects. Both were charged with possession of stolen property and burglar tools.

11/04/2016: Investigators made a Grand Larceny and Falsifying Business Records arrest in the Town of Waterloo for fraud and theft at a local business.

11/15/2016: The Narco unit arrested 3 persons following investigations into the unlawful sale and distribution of narcotic, prescription medications in the Seneca Falls and Waterloo communities.

11/30/2016: Corrections Officers raised $1000 for the United way through the “No Shave November” challenge. The donation was slated for Safe Harbors of the Finger Lakes and the Seneca County Children’s Committee.

The Department completed several training goals in November including: Firearms Qualifications, Use of Force, Legal Updates, C.P.R. and A.E.D. Deployment.
