Canandaigua PD: Woman threatened disabled senior with a knife, grabbed her by the neck

A 41-year-old Canandaigua woman was arrested by Canandaigua Police after she allegedly threatened a 71-year-old disabled person with a knife.

Police say that Elisabeth Genter, 41, of Canandaigua was arrested for first-degree endangering the welfare of an incompetent of physically disabled person and second-degree menacing after she allegedly threatened a 71-year-old disabled victim.

Genter is accused of using a knife to threaten the victim, and later grabbing that victim by the neck during an incident. Genter was arraigned in Canandaigua City Court and remanded to the Ontario County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 secured bond.

The arrest took place on December 12th around 3:30 pm, according to Canandaigua Police.
