Rochester woman hospitalized after crash in Bloomfield

A 25-year-old Rochester woman was sent to the hospital after an accident in Bloomfield on Thursday.

Deputies in Ontario County say that Sarah Anne Halstead, 25, of Rochester was traveling on East Main Street in Bloomfield around 6:30 pm when her vehicle left the roadway, striking a utility pole and then striking a tree in front of 22 East Main Street.

She was transported by East Bloomfield Ambulance to F.F. Thompson Hospital for treatment of a possible head injury. East Bloomfield Holcomb Fire also assisted at the scene. The cause of the accident is unknown, according to deputies.
