Federal freeze prompts cancellation of tours at Women’s Rights Park

All ranger-guided tours at the Women’s Rights National Historical Park have been canceled. The federal hiring freeze imposed by a Jan. 2 executive order signed by President Donald Trump is cited as the reason for the cancellation of the tours.

In its latest newsletter, park officials said that “due to the recent federal hiring freeze, the Women’s Rights National Historical Park is critically understaffed.” It adds: “Until circumstances change, we have canceled all tours and visits by educational groups.”
