Water main break at Seneca Falls Water Treatment Plant

The Town of Seneca Falls Water and Sewer Department is reporting a water main break inside the Water Treatment Plant that occurred on Saturday night and will impact town residents through Monday evening.

The Town of Seneca Falls is currently receiving all water from the Town of Waterloo and is expected to continue to draw from Waterloo until the break is repaired and the treatment plant becomes operational. Officials expect the situation to be fully resolved by Monday evening.

Until then, Town of Seneca Falls residents may experience cloudy water and low pressure. The water is safe for everyday use. The Town has issues a CONSERVE WATER ORDER. Residents do not need to boil their water.
